About Jenna

What are your areas of expertise?

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners licensed in the state of Minnesota and Wisconsin with a specialty focus in Neurology.  I have past experience as a registered nurse in the areas of acute care, long-term care, and management.

What are your areas of special interest?

I have been given the opportunity to extend my career as a Family Nurse Practitioner into the specialty role of a Neurology Advance Practice Provider. I have a number of interests including: epilepsy, degenerative diseases, migraines, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and neuromuscular diseases.

What is your approach to patient care?

Having had been a nurse prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I embrace the patient and family centered care approach by providing education, reassurance, and support for your healthcare needs.  As a provider, I can do my best to explain neurological diseases and treat them accordingly in a way that you understand and feel comfortable with.  We are fortunate enough through the Kinisi Institute to collaborate with multiple team members and have multiple resources available to you, as the patient, in order to provide the best care possible.

What drew you to the St. Croix Valley?

The St. Croix Valley offers my husband and I a beautiful area to live, pursue our dream jobs, and participate in all of the outdoor activities that we enjoy. We particularly like the nearby lakes country and ease of access to the city without having to deal with traffic on a daily basis.
