Acupuncture

Ancient Chinese physicians believed that a form of energy, which they call Qi (chee), follows pathways in the body stimulating all body functions. Blockages in these pathways result in pain and/or disease. Today, science is showing that acupuncture, with the use of needles, stimulates receptors in the body, sending signals to the brain that activate the body’s healing capacity.

According to the National Institutes of Health and the World Health Organization, acupuncture has proven effective in the treatment of many common problems.

The team at the Kinisi Institute will work with you, using acupuncture, to help alleviate pain and other symptoms related to:

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy can be very helpful if you have chronic conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, migraines, sciatica, arthritis, back pain, carpal tunnel or tension headaches. It can also help if you want to relieve muscle pain or manage stress. Our certified massage therapists use more than one technique in their work and sometimes combine several methods depending on your needs.

Your Kinisi Institute massage therapist will ask about your needs and encourage you to give feedback during your session in order to use the techniques and pressure that works best for you.
