What is your approach to patient care?

I believe that everyone on the care team needs to work together, with the patient at the center. When everyone is working toward a common goal, things get accomplished. I believe change all starts with the patient believing they can change—you have to believe in yourself first.

What is your approach to patient care?

I am guilty of using humor in all aspects of my life including my work as a therapist. I acknowledge that illness and injury are difficult and that therapy is hard work. Sometimes humor makes the work go a little easier. Healing is a process, every person is unique and I try to develop specific patient-centered plans for every individual in therapy.

What drew you to the St. Croix Valley?

Professionally, I was drawn here by the reputation of St. Croix Medical Center. I moved to the area with my family because of the good schools, small town setting and because the beauty and proximity to water remind me of my hometown of Duluth, Minnesota.
